Program Cost

Estimated expenses are listed below and are provided solely as an estimate to aid your financial planning; all expenses are subject to change.

MEDEX tuition does not follow the general UW tuition schedule.  Tuition is charged by the MEDEX Admissions and Student Services Team each quarter of enrollment.  There is no tuition difference for in-state and out-of-state residents.  Additional program costs include Institutional and Program fees.

Once a student is notified of acceptance, they are required to pay a nonrefundable matriculation fee (deposit) of $500 that will be applied towards the first quarter’s tuition.

Tuition Forfeiture or Refund Policy Related to Leave of Absence or Withdrawal

Students requesting a leave of absence for any substantial length of time should be aware they are subject to the official UW withdrawal policy for tuition forfeiture or refunds based on the UW calendar (rather than the dates of the MEDEX quarters). Depending on the specific time during the UW quarter that a leave or withdrawal is requested, a student may be responsible for paying that quarter’s tuition.

MEDEX follows the UW Academic Calendar for adding/dropping courses, withdrawals, and tuition/fee assessment deadlines.
