Meghan Mosbo (Seattle Class 45) fulfilled her four-month primary care rotation with preceptor Lenny Smith, PA-C (MEDEX Part Time Class 2, 1994), at Group Health in Everett. Group Health was a local leader in healthcare by integrating physician assistants into their medical workforce beginning with the first graduating class of MEDEX Northwest. During this rotation, Meghan saw a wide range of common patient complaints and conditions. Under Lenny’s guidance, she continued to develop her skills while managing and treating these patients, which provided a solid foundation for an eventual PA practice. Prior to MEDEX Meghan worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiopulmonary rehab and cardiac testing in the Chicago area. She is soon to be a second-generation PA; Meghan’s father is a physician assistant as well.
