The Network provides training and resources for all the Lead Residents in the family medicine residency programs in the WWAMI region. Once a year, Leads gather in a two-day conference in Seattle, WA, to share ideas and resources, learn new leadership skills, and develop relationships for ongoing collaboration. This year, we have moved to a virtual model with the first all-day session May 4-5, 2023; followed by a second session on September 22, 2023.
This popular, interactive conference is for the express purpose of bringing together current and incoming Lead Residents for a time of interaction, dialogue, and information exchange. Current Leads will share their perception of roles, responsibilities and duties. Incoming Leads will have opportunities for one-on-one sessions with other chiefs and faculty to help equip them for their new role.
