For 6 years Kaye Kvam taught physician assistants in training at MEDEX Northwest in Seattle. Twice during her tenure at MEDEX she was recognized with the Golden Apple Award for outstanding teaching. From 2009 through 2012 Kaye was actively involved in the promotion of the PA profession through WAPA—Washington Academy of Physician Assistants. She served as WAPA president from 2010 to 2011.
