Michael started at the DFM in 2022 as a Senior Computer Specialist after graduating from Western Governors University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. In his role, Michael supports the department as a jack-of-all-trades. He primarily serves as a first point of contact for Help Desk tickets, but he also provides IT support for various DFM events, helps facilitate website updates and server migrations.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys cooking, the great outdoors, and playing games with friends and family. He has completed the STP (Seattle to Portland) and the RSVP (Seattle to Vancouver B.C.) bike rides. Michael is currently training for a triathlon and learning to snowboard. In the future, he hopes to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. If Michael is not engaging in any of the above activities, you can find him at a card shop with friends playing Magic: The Gathering!
