I am originally from Iowa and earned a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Grinnell College before moving west in 2013.
Here in Seattle, I worked as a tutor, teacher, and program supervisor at several schools and nonprofit organizations before earning my M.Ed. in Learning Sciences and Human Development at the University of Washington in 2020. Several of my primary interests in graduate school were adult learning, coaching, and educational equity – all of which I’m thrilled to continue pursuing here at MEDEX.
When I’m not working, I enjoy quilting, cooking, and spending time outdoors with my husband John and our dog Luna.
