For seven years, he dedicated himself to serving patients at a homeless shelter, while also fulfilling the role of a research fellow at the Bastyr Kenmore campus. Dr. Sasagawa’s primary focus lies in fostering self-care and empowering patients through the principles of lifestyle medicine. He firmly believes that a combination of proper diet, exercise, sleep, and a positive mindset can be the key to promoting overall health and preventing premature aging. With his investigative and scientific approach to medicine and by carefully analyzing each patient’s unique circumstances, he crafts realistic and practical treatment plans that take into account their individual needs and challenges.
