Provider Incentives Evaluation and Health Care Workforce Needs Assessment for Oregon

Description:

Teams at both the WWAMI RHRC and the UW Center for Health Workforce Studies are working in collaboration with the Oregon Health Authority to conduct an evaluation of provider incentives and a health care workforce needs assessment for the state of Oregon. This project will result in two reports to the Oregon legislature in January 2027. Project objectives include examining policy and programmatic influences on the Oregon health workforce, providing an overview of the primary care, behavioral health, and oral health workforce groups in Oregon, conducting a formal evaluation of Oregon’s provider incentives programs, and detailing recommendations to address identified needs.
