This study examined Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) national survey data to explore the prevalence and trends in screening for four types of cancer (breast, colorectal, cervical, and prostate) among survey respondents from urban and various types of rural areas. BRFSS is a nationally representative study of the adult population in the United States that collects health data on an annual basis. Funded by HRSA’s FORHP.
