BUILDING CAPACITY IN PCOR A CASE STUDY: CYSTIC FIBROSIS

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a rare, genetic disease that affects about 30,000 people in the United States and 70,000 people world-wide. It is a multi-system disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. Lung infections caused by the accumulation of thick, sticky mucus are easily passed between people with CF. Because of this risk, people with CF have been engaging online long before the rest of the world joined them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
