Nine Health Workforce Research Centers (HWRCs) funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) have been actively producing new studies on allied health, long-term care, behavioral health, and oral health workforces, as well as examining emerging ways by which workers are employed such as addressing health equity. The 2021 annual report highlights recent activities over the past year including how their research has informed the health workforce response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
