Pam Nagasawa, PhD

    Biography:
    Pam Nagasawa (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education. In the Department of Family Medicine, she serves as the Associate Program Director of Evaluation and Assessment at the MEDEX Physician Assistant program. Dr. Nagasawa earned a master's degree and PhD in Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Washington. In her role within educational programs, she examines impact assessment of learning environments, instruction, and institutional effectiveness, with a diversity and advocacy lens. Scholarly interests focus on educating a diverse workforce—priming students to serve rural, underserved, and culturally diverse patient populations.
