State Perspectives on the Impacts of Maternity Care Target Areas
Description:
The maternity care target area measure (“MCTA”) can offer nuanced information to states in addressing complex needs related to maternal health care, but little is known about how states are using this measure and whether the information it provides is helpful for states in addressing variability in access to maternal and child health workers. To address this gap, we will interview key informants in 10-15 states to better understand their perspectives on the utility of MCTAs and how MCTAs are best applied.
