Overeducated and Undervalued? Educational Attainment and Income of Immigrants in Health Occupations
Description:
This study will update prior UW CHWS research examining employment of US immigrants in health care occupations and expand to identify characteristics of immigrants who are overeducated relative to job requirements. Study findings will have implications for creating pathways to capitalize on immigrant expertise to avoid wasting valuable human resources for health.
