COVID’s Effect on Leveraging Public Data to Track the Allied Health Workforce

Description:

This study will use the most recent national public data to examine the available allied health workforce supply in the U.S. in comparison with estimates from previous years. A specific focus will be to use age/cohort trends to detect signs of early retirement related to COVID-19. This is the fifth phase of a series of UW CHWS studies producing a robust data repository and body of research about the allied health workforce at the state and national level, with the goal of supporting future studies to inform policy makers and health workforce planners.
