Best Practices in Experiential Education to Educate Health Professionals on Heath Equity


Description:

This study explored how experiential education is being used to train health professionals in SDOH and to achieve the goal of improving health workforce diversity to promote healthy equity. We identifed programs that incorporated experiential education curricula focused on SDOH and health equity, promising and best practices for experiential education, and community priorities for health professional education.
