Washington State’s Anesthesia Workforce (Occupational Briefs)
Abstract
The below occupational briefs provide individual summaries of each occupation providing advanced anesthesia services in Washington state. These are connected to the report on Washington State’s Anesthesia Workforce, which was the result of the first and only funded year (FY 2025) of ESSB 6286 (originally described by the legislation as a five-year study). The full report can be found here. Each brief details the education preparation, licensing requirements, scope of practice, and distribution in Washington state of the described occupation.
