The Health Workforce Technical Assistance Center, supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), recently released its Health Workforce Research Centers’ (HWRCs’) 2025 Annual Report, which captures the work conducted by the federally-funded HWRCs throughout the past year. This report documents a year of impactful research and collaborative problem-solving aimed at ensuring the U.S. health workforce is well-prepared, well-distributed, and equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Research from the UW’s HWRCs is featured in this year’s report. The UW HWRC – Allied Health contributed Impacts of Skilled Nursing Facility Change of Ownership on Staffing, while the UW HWRC – Population Health is highlighted for Understanding Career Pathways and Employment Experiences of Certified Nurse Midwives.
