Bianca Frogner, UW CHWS Director, was recently interviewed by KOMO News on gender-based wage gaps among health care workers – a CHWS HWRC – Health Equity study. In the interview, Dr. Frogner discusses while the gender-based wage gap has reduced among jobs that require a higher level of education (like physicians and pharmacists), it has increased in jobs that require less education.
