The Sports Medicine Section has been taking a relative break as spring sports season winds down and the fall sports season gears up. They have continued to see patients at the Stadium Sports Medicine Clinic and appreciate your referrals. If you have need of a sports medicine provider please refer directly to one of the physicians (Carrol, Drezner, Harmon, Pelto, Rao) or call 206-598-DAWG and hit option 8 to get directly to the clinic desk. If you ever have difficulty getting one of your referrals a timely appointment please email the physician directly or Kimberly Harmon (kharmon@uw.edu). “Fall” comes early for sports medicine providers; the Seahawks begin training camp in July and Husky athletes return at the beginning of August, so sports medicine coverage is now in full swing. The Center for Sports Cardiology is continuing to offer heart screens for $50 and pre-participation exams with ECG with late afternoon and evening appointments: 598-DAWG option 8 to schedule those as well.
