Dr. Paul James, MD, Chair, Department of Family Medicine, was recently awarded the prestigious Max Cheplove Award by the Erie County Chapter of the New York Academy of Family Physicians. The Cheplove Medal is the Academy’s highest national honor awarded for outstanding contributions to the ideals and principles of family practice. Dr. James joins many other noteworthy and nationally recognized family medicine leaders, including Dr. Bill Phillips who received the award in 2005.
