Northgate PM reports are typically 12:45-1:15, with lunch provided. The audience size varies, typically 3-7 residents with several faculty also joining. Aim to make your presentation case-based, with a very specific learning objectives. Powerpoints used for prior presentations are found in the residency dropbox (www.dropbox.com) under “Didactics & PM report presentations”, where you may also upload your handouts or presentations for future reference for residents.General schedule template (will vary slightly per month):
1st Monday: Faculty volunteer, pediatric topic suggested
1st Friday: Pediatric Adolescent report, R3 on pediatric rotation
2nd Monday: Psych report, case presentation or psych management, R3 on psych rotation
2nd Friday: Reproductive health report, R2 on repro health rotation
3rd Monday: Inpatient medicine or OB case, Every other month – 5 minute billing tips with Dr. Feliciano
3rd Friday: Sports medicine topic, R2 on sports medicine rotation
4th Monday: Pharmacy report, Alvin Goo
4th Friday: Psych report, case presentation or psych management, R3 on psych OR, Faculty volunteer, OB topic suggested
Any Mon/Fri that works, R3 on Geriatrics should do a PM report on Health Disparities topic.
