Description:
This study was a collaboration between the University of Washington Center for Health Workforce Studies (UW CHWS) and the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) to identify the existing approaches and strategies in place to recruit and retain clinical laboratory technicians and technologists, barriers and facilitators to strengthening the pipeline and current supply of clinical laboratory technicians and technologists in order to meet demand, and outline a blueprint for action to address existing barriers.
