Career Mobility of Allied Health Workers During the Pandemic
Description:
The health care industry has largely recovered from massive job loss at the onset of the pandemic, but recovery has been unevenly distributed across settings and by sociodemographic characteristics of health workers. With high employer demand for workers, this study examined which, if any, allied health workers benefited from the competition by advancing their careers in the years following the pandemic’s initial peak.
