As many of you may already know, after almost 23 years at the University of Washington, Dr. Tom Norris has decided to retire as chair of the Department of Family Medicine and retire from his position as a tenured Professor, effective January 1, 2016. The School of Medicine has been very fortunate that Dr. Norris has served in multiple roles, including assistant dean for regional affairs, medical executive and executive director of UW Neighborhood Clinics, and vice dean of academic affairs, in addition to his service as chair of Family Medicine.
