Dr. Raye Maestas will be joining Student Affairs as the new Assistant Dean for Student Affairs! She is a family physician and sees patients at Harborview Medical Center.
Dr. Maestas’ role will be as the primary Student Affairs dean for 1st and 2nd year students in Seattle, and she will provide student support similar to that provided by Foundations Deans in the region. Dr. Maestas is highly qualified for this position, having served as the Denali College Head and as an inaugural college mentor since the colleges began. She also has extensive experience around race, diversity, and inclusion issues and will bring her expertise in this area to Student Affairs, to support students from all backgrounds and experiences.
