TOPIC:
Implementation of a New Kiosk Technology for Blood Pressure Management in a Family Medicine Clinic

DESCRIPTION:
Using a self-service kiosk to measure blood pressure in a primary care clinic has the potential to increase patients’ awareness of their blood pressure control and free up medical assistant time. This presentation will report the results of an evaluation of the implementation of a blood pressure kiosk in a primary care clinic in the WWAMI region Practice and Research Network. The evaluation examined the kiosk’s acceptability and usability, as well as its effects on workflow.
