It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the opening of 2026 DFM Awards to nominations. Family Medicine attracts exceptional faculty and staff who make remarkable contributions to the department, to the specialty, and to the communities they serve. DFM Awards are designed to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of faculty and staff affiliated with the UW Department of Family Medicine.
Nominations are now being accepted through April 24rd, 2026.
Award categories include Excellence in the following areas: Administrative, Clinical Service, Educational, Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), Leadership, Research & Scholarship, and Team. Please consider nominating a deserving colleague.
