The Osher Center for Integrative Health at UW and the Cha Chi Ming Fund are excited to present our 5th Integrative Health Seminar and first ever virtual cooking class on Thursday, April 7, 2022  from 6:00pm – 7:15pm via Zoom. 

Cooking Up Health: Recipes for Reducing Inflammation

Common Threads’ Chef Jared Batson will lead an interactive cooking session to to guide us though a delicious anti-inflammatory dinner, Chana Masala. He has also provided a handy shopping/ingredient list. Please sign up and join us for dinner!
How we eat can affect inflammation, and certain diets are more likely to decrease pain and other symptoms of disease. It is estimated that 60% of chronic diseases could be prevented by a healthy diet. (1) Not only can eating the right foods reduce the occurrence of inflammation in the first place, but it can also help to reduce and resolve inflammation that is already happening.
