Ruth Ballweg, MPA, PA-C has been selected by the Physician Assistant Education Association and the members of their Awards Committee as the recipient of the 2015 PAEA Lifetime Achievement Award. She will be honored this year at the 2015 PAEA Forum in Washington, DC. This award is a truly significant accomplishment.
Dr. Godfrey is the 2015 recipient of a Midcareer Mentor Award from the Society of Family Planning (SFP) (2015-2017). With the help of this grant, Dr. Godfrey plans to foster a cadre of research-scientists working to enhance family planning services in primary care settings. Additionally, this SFP Midcareer Mentoring Award enables Dr. Godfrey to continue working with current mentees and embrace her new role as a Co-Director of the National Research Service Award (NRSA) Family Medicine Research Fellowship at UW.
