Building partnerships for rural mental health access and health equity community-engaged research
Description:
The objective of this project is to evaluate the Mental Health Matters (MHM) intervention, an evidence-based, bilingual program in Skagit County, WA, through a comprehensive analysis of 2- and 3-year evaluation data and a qualitative assessment of Peer Mental Health Navigators’ community impact. We will assess the feasibility of expanding MHM in rural communities throughout the WWAMI region by reviewing the training curriculum for enhanced cultural responsiveness, feasibility, and cost optimization.
