Biography

Ashley Johnson, MPH is a Research Scientist and Practice Facilitator who divides her time between the Six Building Blocks for Improved Opioid Management program, the WWAMI region Practice and Research Network (WPRN), and the Optimizing Implementation in Cancer Control (OPTICC) Center. She earned a master’s degree in Public Health in Global Health from St. Catherine University. She has expertise in project management, quality improvement, and qualitative research. She has worked on health-related research and implementation projects in the areas of opioids, geriatrics, diabetes, and global health. Ashley previously worked at Save the Children US and Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, trying new foods, traveling, and walking her two rescue dogs (golden retriever and Korean Jindo).
