Biography

Katie Osterhage, MMS is a Research Scientist and Practice Facilitator who divides her time between the WWAMI region Practice and Research Network in the Department of Family Medicine and the UW ALACRITY Center. She earned a master's degree in International Health from Uppsala University and a bachelor's degree in Conflict Studies from DePauw University. She brings expertise as a qualitative researcher and project manager on health-related studies and implementation projects in the areas of HIV, geriatrics, health informatics, opioids, and mental health. Katie has previously worked for the Health Promotion Research Center, the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and as an AIF William J. Clinton Fellow. Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling, reading, volunteering with the Seattle Aquarium, backpacking, snowboarding, being a fair-weather bike commuter, and cats.
