She is an attending clinical psychologist in the UW Long COVID Clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Knowles\u2019s research focuses on optimizing behavioral health treatments for common and disabling symptoms in adults living with chronic health conditions like long COVID and multiple sclerosis (MS). Currently, she has an NIH Career Development Award to optimize a telehealth Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based treatment for MS-related fatigue using the Multiphase Optimization Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Clinically, Dr. Knowles serves people with mental and behavioral health concerns related to living with chronic health conditions. She believes in a holistic approach to managing chronic health conditions.
