The purpose of these grants is to stimulate scholarship in integrative medicine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funds available: <\/strong>Funding for up to 3 projects will be available each year. The maximum available per grant is $3,300. Funding will be dependent on project needs. Grant funds are to cover research costs such as survey mailings or hourly research staff time. Funds cannot be used to support faculty FTE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Length of grant: <\/strong>One year from the start of the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports: <\/strong>Brief progress reports will be due 3, 6, and 9 months after funding is awarded. A final report describing the project and summarizing the findings will be due a year after funding. Whenever possible, the final report should be in the form of a manuscript that could be submitted for publication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> Please complete and submit the attached form to Dan Cherkin, PhD, UW Osher Center Director of Research, at dcherkin@uw.edu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadlines: <\/strong>Applications will be accepted during two time periods each year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Between April 1 and May 15 (Funding decisions will be announced by June 15)<\/li>\n<li>Between October 1 and November 15.
