Osteopathic Workshops

September 16, 2024, Osteopathic Principles & Practice  Workshop, PNWU campus & livestream

Introduction to OPP workshop is an interactive, hands-on workshop in the PNWU OPP labs that incorporates kinesthetic learning, lecture, and small group work at OMT tables. This workshop includes instruction on the history and philosophy of OPP, direct and indirect modalities, soft tissue and myofascial release, motion, barriers, asymmetry, lymphatics, counterstrain, muscle energy and more. The workshops are designed to increase OMT competency and knowledge for osteopathic preceptors (MD/DO) and MDs matriculating into ACGME Osteopathic Recognized programs. Workshops are free for Network programs.

Additional workshops available to Network programs at your location:

  • Management of Low Back Pain using OMT (3 hours)

  • Treatment of Headaches, Neck Pain and TMJ using OMT (3 hours)

  • OMT in Prenatal Care (3 hours)
