Family Medicine Associate Program Director
Trios Health Family Medicine Residency Program, located in the Tri-Cities of Washington (Kennewick), is seeking an exceptional physician to join as a part-time Associate Program Director (approximately 20 hours/week). The APD works with the Program Director in developing, directing, and managing the Family Medicine Residency program and ensures stability of the residency-training program, including compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. Our three-year program is home to 12 residents. The APD will serve as a mentor, teach and present lectures to the faculty, residents and students in the program and reports directory to the Program Director.
The Family Medicine Associate Program Director must have current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the residency program accrediting body (ACGME). They must also have a current medical license and appropriate medical staff appointment as needed, and engage in ongoing clinical activity. A candidate should have at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience or qualifications that can be demonstrated as applicable to the position.
