The Trios Health Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking an exceptional physician to join the team as the Associate Program Director (APD). This position is full-time, 1.0 FTE with 0.5 FTE dedicated to administrative time for the residency program, and 0.5 FTE dedicated to supervision of residents and direct patient care (clinical activity).
The APD works with the Program Director in developing, directing, and managing the Family Medicine Residency Program and ensures stability of the residency training program, including compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. The APD will serve as a mentor, teach and present lectures to the faculty and residents, and reports directly to the Program Director.
Qualification required for the Associate Program Director include current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, or specialty qualifications that are acceptable to the residency program accrediting body (ACGME). They must also have, or obtain, a Washington medical license and appropriate medical staff appointment as needed. This position requires a minimum of one year of faculty experience and two years of clinical experience in Family Medicine.
