{"id":5520,"date":"2013-08-16T15:39:35","date_gmt":"2013-08-16T15:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/medex\/?p=5520"},"modified":"2013-08-16T15:39:35","modified_gmt":"2013-08-16T15:39:35","slug":"2013-graduations-at-medex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/medex\/magazine\/2013\/08\/16\/2013-graduations-at-medex\/","title":{"rendered":"2013 Graduations at MEDEX"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MEDEX Northwest is pleased to announce 108 new physician assistant graduates across four sites in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The Alaska MEDEX Class 3 graduation was held on Thursday, August 15 with an on-screen keynote speech by Senator Mark Begich, who also delivered the graduation speech for Alaska Class 1.<\/p>\n<p>Both Seattle Class 45 and Yakima Class 18 graduated on Thursday August 22 in Seattle at Kane Hall on the University of Washington campus. \u00a0 The graduation keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Alfred Sadler, Founder of the PA Program at Yale University, and incoming President of the Society for Preservation of Physician Assistant History.<\/p>\n<p>Spokane Class 15 graduated on Friday August 23 with a keynote speech by the Chancellor of the WSU Riverpoint Campus, Lisa Brown.
