MEDEX Northwest recognizes the passing of Seattle Class 5 graduate James Arthur Davidson on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington. We direct you to Jim’s story as told in a beautifully written obituary published in the Sunnyside Sun. We’re also sharing an 1973 article from the Sunnyside Sun which points to Jim’s early days as a practicing PA in Grandview, WA, and otherwise contains an elucidating swell of information about Physician Assistants and other burgeoning medical professions responding to the community medical needs of the day. Finally we recognize Jim’s having received the MEDEX Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 for his advocacy work and contributions to the PA profession.
