Students in\u202f<a href=\"\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/seattle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seattle<\/a>,\u202f<a href=\"\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/spokane\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spokane<\/a>,\u202f<a href=\"\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/tacoma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tacoma<\/a>, \u202f<a href=\"\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/anchorage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anchorage<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/kailua-kona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kona\u202f<\/a>will complete a capstone project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n <p> <a href=\"\/medex\/applicants\/academic-prerequisites\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Academic Prerequisites<\/strong><\/a> &nbsp;<\/p>\n <p> <a href=\"\/medex\/applicants\/clinical-prerequisites\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Clinical Prerequisites<\/strong><\/a> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n <h3>Focused Study Course Options:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n   <p>Students  will select a specific Focused Study course offering advanced skills  and knowledge in their chosen focus area. Students will declare their  Focused Study choice at the beginning of spring quarter of the didactic  phase of training. Focused Study course options include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n \n  \n    <ul role=\"list\">\n      <li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"4\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" role=\"listitem\" data-aria-level=\"1\">\n       <p>Healthcare for Rural and Underserved Populations,&nbsp;<\/p>\n      <\/li>\n      <li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"4\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" role=\"listitem\" data-aria-level=\"1\">\n       <p>Public Health and Preventive Medicine,&nbsp;<\/p>\n      <\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n  \n\n <h3>Capstone Project&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n <p>With  faculty guidance, students will develop and complete an individual  capstone project within their selected focus area. Projects will be  presented to faculty and fellow students during the summer graduation  week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n <h3>Program timing:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n <p>The  MEDEX master\u2019s program will be a total of nine (9) quarters.
