All students who complete the program successfully also earn a Certificate of Completion, which qualifies them to take the national certification examination.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants may apply to the\u202fSeattle, WA,\u202fSpokane, WA,\u202fTacoma, WA,\u202fAnchorage, AK or Kona, HI\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/medex\/pa-program\/campus-locations\/\">campus locations<\/a>. Applicants must have a prior bachelor\u2019s degree to be eligible to apply to any MEDEX campus. For a complete list of MCHS degree prerequisites, please see the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/medex\/applicants\/program-prerequisites\/\">Academic Prerequisites<\/a>\u202fpage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>PharmD\/MCHS Dual Degree (2026 Matriculation Pause Continuing to 2027) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PharmD\/MCHS dual degree option, previously offered in partnership with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sop.washington.edu\/pharmd\/curriculum\/concurrent-degrees-certificates\/pharmd-pa\/\">Pharmacy Doctorate (PharmD) Program at the University of Washington<\/a>\u00a0is not admitting new students for the 2026-2027 application cycle with a summer 2027 start date. MEDEX is currently in the process of determining its new curriculum, and the dual-degree pathway is on hold while curriculum alignment and transferable credit requirements are reviewed.
