Forch, 71 of Port Orchard, died in Gig Harbor October 4, 2013. He was born in Leola SD on July 13, 1942 to Adam &amp; Louise (Wulff) Forch. He graduated from George Washington University in Washington DC with a Bachelor\u2019s in Public Health, from San Diego State University with a Bachelor\u2019s in Electronic Engineering, and P.A.-C with a degree in Clinical Science from University of WA. He married Connie Migala in Parma Heights, OH on October 7, 1984.<\/p>\n<p>Karl served in the U. S. navy for 31 years. He retired as a Master Chief earning the<br \/>Purple Heart. He served in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos &amp; Thailand. He went to Honduras with the Marines and his last combat mission was with Desert Storm. After his retirement, he worked as a P.A.-C for the Doctor\u2019s Clinic in Belfair, the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Seattle, and for the Department of Corrections in Shelton.<\/p>\n<p>Karl was a Lay Minister at Colby United Methodist church. He studied in the Abundant Life Seminary, completing his studies in 2007. He was a Mason, Shriner, and York Rite Mason. His Hobbies were gardening, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and target shooting. He hunted Buffalo on a prairie in South Dakota which was on his bucket list.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving are his wife Connie, sons Michael Forch and Larry Davis of Spokane, and brother Harrold (Elaine) Forch of Long Branch, WA.
