I taught high school biology before becoming a PA, and have worked in primary care and urgent care since. Changing what I can to correct past inequalities is an ongoing internal and external process.

Outside of clinic and academics, I try not to over-answer when my kids have science questions (unless I want them to quickly leave the room). They and my wife are sources of wisdom and meaning. I’m grateful to help with and witness their wins and tough growth moments. I also find the rush of triathlons, time on a yoga mat, backpacking mountain trails, playing the euphonium, and writing sci-fi & fantasy novels to be sources of rejuvenation.

["post-25959","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
