Associate Program Director of Clinical Affairs
I was born and raised in a small town in Alabama where I graduated from high school. After graduation, I joined the Army where I served for 4 years, some time of which was during Desert Storm. After 4 years of service, I was honorably discharged from the Army and attended respiratory therapy school. As a respiratory therapist, I was gainfully employed at Harborview Medical Center before deciding to further my medical career.
I applied to and was accepted into the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program in 2005. After graduation from the MEDEX program with my Bachelor of Clinical Health Services in 2007, I honed my medical skills while working in family practice for 5 years before applying to the MEDEX master’s program. I graduated in 2014 with the Extended Master of Clinical Health Services degree from MEDEX.
After again practicing and routinely volunteering at the MEDEX program. I applied for a job at the MEDEX program and was hired as Lecturer and Clinical Coordinator in April of 2016. I started my physician assistant career at MEDEX and I am happy to be working at MEDEX where I can help the program continue to carry on its tradition of excellence and service to the underserved.
