Lecturer, Didactic Faculty

A MEDEX graduate myself, I joined the Tacoma faculty in 2018. My didactic focus centers around maternal and child health, and I also work clinically at the Seattle Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I have a background in adult cardiology, but I chose to pursue pediatric medicine, and completed my neonatology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Clinically, my passion lies within providing care for the smallest and sickest babies in the NICU, and caring for their families as they navigate through what is often the most challenging time of their lives. As a lecturer, it is my honor to teach the MEDEX students, most of whom enter into the program with a breadth of knowledge and experience. It is my goal to pass on to them what I have learned in my clinical practice so that they may serve our community as providers.
