Dr. Farah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington and is the Director of the Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) in addition to Faculty Advisor for the Underserved Pathway. She also sees patients at the Family Medicine clinic at Harborview.

Dr. Farah was born in Somalia but grew up in Washington. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and attended medical school at University of Washington School of Medicine where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency at Valley Family Medicine Residency Program.
