Dr. O'Kane has been at the University of Washington since 1993. He completed his residency then sports medicine Fellowship in 1996. He has been the head team physician for the student-athletes at the University of Washington since 1999. His primary interest are sports medicine and the care of active people. He is particularly interested in youth athletes. He has published research concerning injuries in crew, gymnastics and youth soccer. In his free time Dr. O'Kane enjoys golf, skiing and playing guitar. His favorite moments are watching his son perform music or theater and watching his daughter play soccer.
