In the interview, Dr. Frogner shared while staffing within the health care industry is starting to recover from massive shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic, some specific areas are not back. Dr. Frogner also said long vacancies for open positions, turnover, and retirements are contributing to the lack of staff, and some jobs stay open for weeks and months.
