This is evidenced in continued interest in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liebertpub.com\/doi\/10.1089\/heq.2021.0033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a paper by CHWS members<\/a> which was among the 10 most cited articles in Health Equity in 2023. This paper, based on <a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/chws\/studies\/increasing-access-to-doulas-to-support-a-diverse-population\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a study led by Marieke van Eijk<\/a>, explores ways that doulas address racism and perinatal inequities through how they approach their work.
